Emptied by Jaime Crowe

Emptied

Poetry  ·  Stone & Sky Press  ·  May 2026

Written from under the rubble — raw, broken prose shaped by grief and beauty, held in the same hand. A practice of return, bringing the body back to what is present, even when what is present is loss.

"That's what hope looks like before it's been bruised."

Attuned

Poetry  ·  Stone & Sky Press  ·  Forthcoming

The second book in the trilogy. Recalibration, listening, and the slow rehabilitation of the analog self — learning to hear what was always there.

Jaime Crowe is a poet, author, and essayist based in New York City, and the founder of City Bathing, an urban mindfulness and somatic practice. Her work lives at the intersection of the interior and the embodied — poems that return the body to what is present, even when what is present is loss.

She is a contributing author at Her View From Home and publishes regularly on Substack, where her essays explore grief, attunement, and becoming more fully oneself in midlife.

Her debut poetry collection, Emptied, was published in May 2026 through Stone & Sky Press. Her second collection, Attuned, is forthcoming.
